Omagh Sports Forum
Omagh Sports Forum is an independent collective which is able to assist in the development of sport by making awards using a number of funding programmes.
These are: -

- Sports Forum Bursaries
- Sports Forum Gold Card

The Sports Forum Grant Aid application is available to any properly constituted Sports Group from within the District. Applications are taken 11 times per year. Sports Forum meetings to consider Grant Applications, take place on the first Wedensday of each month (with the exception of August). Please see schedule under Omagh Sports Forum link.

A Bursary may be awarded to a resident of Omagh District Council to assist with his/her training and competition expenses (if that person is representing their country at national level).

The Gold Card Award is awarded to talented performers from within the District of Omagh who are representing their sport at national level.

The highlight of the year for the Sports Forum is the hosting of the Sports Achievers Evening.
At this special night, the forum recognises the achievements of all sports participants in the District and a night of celebration includes the adoption of an Omagh "Hall of Fame" member as well as various individual and team awards.
